Back in 1981, my uncle Clarence Kistemaker hired me into his business. He had started Brooklyn Climate Control back in the 60's. Clarence signed me up with RSES(Refrigeration Service Engineers Society) and sent me to their schools. I studied at night almost 10 years before I had finished all my classes. I passed their certification test for HVAC, and earned a "Specialist" rating shortly after that. I also attended seminars and Factory Workshops to gain all the knowledge I could regarding this field.

After working with Clarence for 12 years, he retired and sold me his business. My wife, Noreen and I Ran Brooklyn Climate Control for another 12 years, until a shortage of good technicians forced us to close. A year later, I started working alone and Simply Solutions-HVAC was born. Since then I have hired several good employees to help with the larger jobs. After 15 years, I am still the technician on every job. With my 40 years of experience at Residential and Commercial troubleshooting, my customers always get the right diagnosis, expert repairs, good advice/communication and professional installations.

Simply Solutions- HVAC is a "Mom and Pop" shop with all the licensing, insurance and access to all brands of equipment that the big companies have. But, with a lower overhead, we are able to keep prices reasonable. Also, you are assured of getting my experienced technician qualifications as a specialist in this field. Customers are often amazed at how well I know the business and the equipment. I enjoy a challenge, so give me the tough requests! Many times, I have done what was called "impossible" by other companies. If my recommendations don't work, Don't pay me!
